What Norton Antivirus product should I buy for protecting 6 server machines running windows 2003? I'd rather run Linux but.. some government people, probably don't know much about computers at all, are forcing us to use Windows. Removing spyware: cannot update antivirus server? I have this horrible spyware called "Spyware Guard 2008". It does not allow me to go to antivirus sites (i.e. Lavasoft.com, avg.com,etc). I managed to download avg from downloads.com but I cannot update the antivirus server, I keep getting an error that it cannot connect to the update server. What should I do?? I tried deleting the program, doing a search and find of all my c drive but despite my deletions it keeps coming back! Thank you for your quick replies! I downloaded Malware Bytes and even though I can see the program, I cannot run it. When I downloaded Superantispyware, it is saved as a php file and I cannot find the adequate application to run it. Thoughts?
Symantec Server Configuration - Where do I tell a client computer to look for a different symantec server? I have a SBS 2003 server running Symantec Antivirus enterprise, and for some reason 2 of the clients on the network think that our old NT server is still the antivirus server so they are not getting updates and stuff. I can't figure out where to go to change this. please help!
Client + Server Antivirus? I'm running a small network at home (1 server, 7 workstations). The server is DNS, Active Directory and a file server for the local network. windows server 2003 antivirus? i got a toshiba laptop with wista as main os then i got SAp installed on it. in the first place i got free avg antivirus installed which was a 30 day trial period and it was working fine but then after 30 dAYS I uninstall it and then again tried to install it but now i am having problem installing it. tell me the best way to install an anti virus for windows server 2003 without rebooting as i cant do it as my SAP will be unistalled.ann the task manager is not showing up properly as well
In windows 2003 server - Symantec Antivirus Hang up - Help me? We need a solution for the hanging problem of Symantec Antivirus Version 10.1.5.5000. We have installed Symantec Antivirus (SA) Version 10.1.5.5000 in windows 2003 server (SBS). After installing the SA in the server we where able to update the virus definition. When we try to scan it states the error as : “Could not start scan. Scan engine returned error 0x20000046”. Some time it even gets hanged. We have to use ‘end task’ to terminate the program. I did not get any solution, so I just reinstalled the server and the SA; but the problem still persists. Kindly help us to get a solution for this issue. Advance thank for every one…..
symantec antivirus server lost password? I lost my antivirus password, how can I unistall it or retrive the password ? I found the answer myself ;) by uninstalling and reinstall like this : Open regedit and navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL\LANDesk\VirusProtect6\CurrentVersion\Administrator Only\Security\ Change the value for useVPuninstallpassword key from 1 to 0

antivirus for server 2003? i have a toshiba laptop on which i got sap installed and running on server 2003 and then i tried to install my internet cd which didnt support server 2003 and at that point i got an error message. and after that day i am not able to download any antivirus on my laptop and when ever i am trying to open the internet explorer page it shut down automatically after 5 secondss. i dont want to format my laptop as it will delete my sap software advise me what to do and berfore that avg was intalled on my laptop but then i got expire.

I have a computer in my apt running Win2K3 as a file/print server but can't seem to find a antivirus for it. Normally, I use AVG but its free version doesn't include Win2k3. Right, now I have Clamwin running on it and it seems like it can find viruses but not delete them like most antiviruses can.

"Out Of Memory" message appears when I try to install Trend Micro Office Scan Antivirus in a LAN from Server. I increase RAM 128MB as 256 MB as 512 MB still same problem, HDD free space is 20GB, Security option of Internet explore 6 is enabled. I m having Win98 OS . I also reinstall Win98 still my problem not solved. Can any one from any country can help me to solve this problem? What is Out of memory means?? I Delete Temp files & Temp.
