comodo antivirus? i use comodo personal firewall and am a big fan of the software. i have found that they also offer a free antivirus. is it any good? i have previously used avg, avast and current aol antivirus powered by kaspersky, all of which are free. is the comodo software as good as they are?
if i have avast and comodo antivirus well the conflict? and is well there be a way to make comodo antivirus scan files in the avast chest

Is anyone going to get Comodo Antivirus Version 3 when it releases (its free for life)? I have the beta right now. Its ok. I changed to it cuz AVG sucks now it slows down my computer and my computer has 1GB and its components malfunction and the updater doesnt work properly. What is the "Best" free antivirus? I am looking for a very good antivirus. I used to have the one Optimum Online offers for free "E-Trust Ez Armor" But it was very weak and could not detect many viruses at all. It didn't search for ad-ware, spyware etc. I recently have downloaded the Comodo AntiVirus and FireWall combo. I have heard a lot about the FireWall and PC Magazine has recognized it also. Though, I hear the A.V. is very young and still cannot detect all viruses. I need something that can protect too (not just scan like the BitDefender Freeware).

antivirus/internet security?? my norton internet security is about to expire, looking for a cheaper sollution i questioned what to do earlier. most answered just upgrade norton or buy something similar. However a few suggested avast antivirus and comodo firewall(both free)along with a spyware prog. What programs should I download to protect my laptop? My laptop is running very slow, despite me only using about 1/4 of the space on it. I'm already using Comodo Firewall, AVG Antivirus 7.5, Spybot S&D, Ad-Aware, Glary Utilities, Disk Cleaner and CCleaner. Is there anything I haven't covered? Any help is much appreciated.
AVG and Comodo Firewall clash? I was running AVG Antivirus and Comodo Firewall but they clash which results in the AVG email scanner not working. I uninstalled AVG and installed Avira but it does not scan emails at all. Would you recommend I change to a different firewall, (and if so, which one would you suggest),and reinstall AVG, or is there other antivirus software which will scan emails and not conflict with Comodo (which I like)? I tried to purchase the Avira Premium yesterday,but the file that will give me the licence number will not download. AVG is definitely clashing with Comodo, I searched the net and discovered this is quite a common problem with other users.

Antivirus conflict..How to remove Comodo s/w from add/remove programs?? Hi, I recently downloaded the Comodo Antivirus knowing little that it would conflict with my already installed Symantec AV. That has created a major conflict between the two Antiviruses that my laptop is nearly dead! It operates damn slow! Now I tried to remove the Comodo Antivirus which started all that trouble, but to my surprise it is not getting listed in the "add/Remove Programs" options.. and there seems to be no option of "uninstall" when I click on the Comodo icon. Is there anyway out so that I can remove Comodo?? PLZ HELP!

AVG Antivirus 8.0 Problem? I recently installed a trial version of Avg 8.0 Antivirus Pro on my pc. I am having a problem uploading anything when it is installed. If I uninstall I upload no problem. Am I missing a setting in AVG or is it a issue. I run a laptop core duo, 1gb ram with Windows Vista Home Premium, and Comodo 3.0 firewall. AVG does not have anything listed on there FAQ about this issue. Any help would be great

Comodo always prompts "Firefox.exe is trying to access display screen" every time i load firefox.? It only started doing this for about 3 days... i scanned with spydoctor, antivirus doc, and a-squared and came out negative. Although awhile back i detected "darkmoon" trojan twice with spydoctor. it was only the registry though.. In comodo i check active process/connection and everything is fine... In zone alarm firewall, i used it awhile back and was always bombarded with Port Scans from japan.. always blocked them though. So, is this firefox prompt normal with comodo?

Best antivirus & firewall bundle? I've used Norton Antivirus but it takes up a lot of resources. My firewall has always been ZoneAlarm but it also uses tons of resources (not to mention its antivirus isn't very user friendly). I liked how Norton would let me select what types of programs to let through (trojan, dialer, hack tools etc.). Is Defense+ in COMODO Firewall Pro really necessary? I have COMODO firewall pro (the free one) and Defense+ annoys the heck out of me with every time a registry key is changed or every time a program wants to do something. It would take months for me to get all of the programs I normally used to be allowed and all the windows system applications to be recognized. Do I really need this? I'm running Vista Business with UAC activated on a limited account, so I think I would be fine, but I need a second, or third, or fourth... opinion. I have avast! antivirus 4.8 with real-time-protection and SUPERantispyware without real-time protection (on demand scanner only) and windows defender is on. Thanks for any help.

Help! Need Identification with PC Health Problem? Hi All, I've booted up my pc yesterday evening and have comodo antivirus and firewall running - (previously Kapersky 8 suite). I ran a full scan on sunday with no problems and updated spybot and had no malware detected. My problem is that i have 'insufficient permission' to run any program that is installed on my pc. I have an always on internet connection and fear that a trojan or virus has come down undetected. I cant run the antivirus program as i windows wont allow me, and i get a further message saying that it cant find the program and may have been moved or deleted. I've checked my hard drive and still have all my files. i've run a full scan in safe mode and still nothing - the definitions most definetly dont include this virus? How can i fix this problem - do i use the repair function with my windows cd in safe mode? Please help!
Trend Micro PC Cillin security uninstallation problem!? I'm trying to install Comodo Antivirus but it said that I have Trend Micro Security Installed but when I check my add/remove programs "Trend Micro Pc Cillin" wasn't there. When I check program files only a few files and folders were there and they all can't be deleted. When I try to use 3rd party uninstaller it doesn't show. Tried PCCTool and it doesn't work. What do i do?
