How do I delete eTrust ez Antivirus from my computer? Everytime I try to delete it from my PC from remove? programs in the control panel it just keeps coming up as follows. Error E9011. You do not have sufficient privileges to instal or uninstal e Trust EZ Antivirus. It is my own home computer but no matter what I do it wont delete. It is a pain as I am now using Norton 2007 antivirus but this EZ Antivirus keeps telling me to renew and tries to run a scan then it says failed please renew now. I dont want it and just want it out of my PC. Any help would be great. I am running Windows XP. Thank you to everyone for your help I have now managed to delete it out of my PC. Thanks again.

After attempting to uninstall Etrust Ez Antivirus, my computer wont boot into Windows XP.? Last night, I attempted to uninstall Etrust Ez Antivirus from my dads computer. (he has Windows XP Service Pack II) It wouldn't uninstall, stating that it was unable to remove a specific file from the registry. I was able to boot the computer into safemode, but once I got there was unable to go to start, run (to type in regedit). I rebooted and logged in normally. This morning I attempted to use the computer, it was loaded, but when I clicked on start, run (or anything else) nothing would happen. I tried Ctrl, alt, delete to see if anything else was running and that didn't work. I shut the computer off to boot back into safemode, but now the computer is stuck at the Light blue screen that just says Windows XP. I reset the defaults in bios and am still unable to boot into windows. Tried to run the repair from the Win Xp cd, but it tells me I don't have a hard drive. Can someone help please???

When running eTrust EZ antivirus, It only gets through 8,000 files and then stops and the computer freezes up. It runs all the way through in safemode, but always freezes in normal mode. Any ideas??

How do we remove the etrust EZ Armor from our computer? We have tried to remove but have been unsuccessful.? The computer will not allow us to delete this program. We are trying to install a new antivirus program and it will not let us until the eTrust EZ Armor is removed.

Does anyone know how to get rid of win32/swizzor virus? I got infected with the win32/swizzor virus and I can't seem to get rid of it with my antivirus software...or adware remover...I have used several....among Mcaffee Antivirus, Panda Antivirus, CA Antivirus (aka) Ez trust adware remover...AVGAS, Spyhunter, and of course the antispy that comes with SBC Yahoo...now ATT Yahoo...I have a DSL connection...and well...it's like a dial-up connection now...anyone have any suggestions? Computer virus? I have the EZ Antivirus program on my computer but it only tells me what files are infected and it doesn't delete them, what do i do? I downloaded Java, restarted my browser, and even tried rebooting my cpu. Why wont yahoo games work for me? I just recently tried to play yahoo games after restoring my pc. I have only tried to play yahoo pool so far, but everytime i go to a room, it says wait 3 minutes for applet to load, but the bottom says "done". I've tried waiting for 3 minutes also, and that didn't work. I downloaded the latest version of Java, Shockwave player, and i also downloaded yahoo browser services. I still can't get into a room to play pool? what is going on? can anyone help me? is yahoo changing their page again and experiencing problems? i never had a problem playing before on this pc, up until i restored it. i rebooted and everything. i even tried to press the button for if the applet fails to load. i have a cable modem and my pc is not slow, so whats the problem? everything else works fine. I use EZ firewall + antivirus protection but that has never given me a problem while playing yahoo games. can anyone tell me whats going on?

Computer Help!!!!!? I am trying to install a antivirus that I bought and it is telling me that it is incompatiable with a program that is already on my computer and to go to add/remove programs to remove it. When I go there I cant find it. It is called etrust EZ Antivirus. Does anyone know how I can remove it? Is it under a different name?

Further to my question about which and why Antivirus, for which I have had many great answers.? I had my first PC for 3 years from 2000. I transferred all the HD information to my new Dell in 2004. The 90 day free McAfee found no viruses. At the end of the 90 days I checked the McAfee Log but here were no Viruses ( or is viri). I have for two years now had CA Ez installed. due for subscription in February. Again no sign of any Viruses. So I still wonder whether or not to bother. I use my PC quite a lotat home. Trojan in my computer? I ran Microsoft's Malicious Software Removal Tool and this is what it said was corrupt. Win32/tibs.gen!encrypted, but it said it could not remove it, I have eTrust EZ antivirus software as well as firewall and things of that nature. How do I go about deleting it if the virus scanner doesn't pick it up?

programs running slow and crashing when i try and open video file from ares? been downloading from ares for a while all of a sudden when i try and run a video file it freezes the system windows encounters a error and shuts down. got ez antivirus it recently removed a jeefo virus. unistalled ares and put morpheus on had the same problem i have got ares back on now help please!!

If I connect to internet in WinXP upload is very high even no site/msgr is running.least 100kb/20 sec,pls help I have installed fresh Windows XP after formatting my D: with NTFS, then installed EZ Antivirus. Now if I connect to internet the upload is trmendously high even I am not doing any activity like no site/messenger is open. I can understand some upload but I observed 0.1 MB increase in upload volume at every 20 sec interval (I used networx to see). Nothing like this happens when I connect to internet using Windows 98 SE on my C: I even tried installing and using firwall (Kerio) but it's really difficult to be expert of firewall. Even that could not stop the high upload rate. What can be the problem ?
