what command line antivirus software is there and where can I download it?

Not all free software are good enough, the best are those bought from shops (e.g. F-Secure, Norton etc.)!
Most major antivirus applications include a command line interface. I'm almost positive Symantec/Norton and McAfee do. Typically it's not part of the basic installation documentation. you have to read through their documents online or buried on the CD to figure out what command is the command line interface and what syntax and commands to use.
