- AVG
- NOD 32 all the way AVG is ok but NOD32 is the best that there will ever be!
- Check on download.com for some freebies unless you want to pay for some--it is the easiest tool to look for things to get, and they show you what versions of windows that is compatible with whatever you happen to want.
- ZoneAlarm basic is free and would prevent the viruses from accessing your computer in the first place...if you are interested go to: http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/catalog/products/sku_list_za.jsp?dc=12bms&ctry=US&lang=en
- Kaspersky is one of the best you can buy. Check out the link below for more info.
- Hi, I too have windows vista, 32bit (home premium). I had alot of problems with Norton and went to microsoft down loads and got a free trail of Windows live one care. I really like it! It takes care of all it's scanning and defragmenting and updates on it's own. when my trial runs out I will buy it, because I also found out it's cheaper than Norton and it allows you to use it up to 3 computers in your home. I have a desk top and a lap top with Windows live one care installed. I also find Norton can't get rid of most tracking cookies and this new anti virus tracks it down and gets rid of it right away!Good Luck and Have a Great Day!
