  1. Well we use Avast...DO NOT USE NORTON, it is not a very good anti virus and it takes up a lot of space on your computer among just making life miserable...that was a recommendation off the tech tv computer show also.

  4. Most people go for Norton, however i previously owned one and manage to get a virus by not even downloading anything. McAfee is also just like Norton but works way better. Zone Alarm Security would be my suggested software in the market today. But if your going for something cheap, try AVG Free Edition.

  6. I use Avira AntiVir for years, it is free, and it works like a charm. Often it detects virus, malware even before Windows defender did. You can download it from http://www.free-av.com. PS : I never have a VIRUS infection before with this AnitiVir

  8. According to PCWorld magazine, the best antivirus in the market right now is Kaspersky antivirus 6. Superior design, malware deterction is 96percent, and it goes for 50dollars it gives almost no false detection. but it has some downsides though, the slowdown is 10% so its noticeable. Norton ranked 10 cos of pop-ups and fake detections. AVG came 7th but has almost unnoticeable slowdown. Panda 3rd. and so on.
  9. Panda Titanium is very good, I've used it and was very happy with it. otherwise use the free Avast version. Excellent, never had any problems with it
