Antivirus Help
antivirus software?
i have some on my security panel but one is missing will i effect the others by downloading antiviris software from internert the security says i have no malware protection? so im downloading antiviris thing from avast/? please help it will finish downloading in 30 mins i dont know whether or not tocanel it or leave it on

- it depends which antivirus it is... best suggestion is... dont download any unless its a patch

- don't run two anti virus software programs at the same time. you can download as many as you want , just don't run them together.
- You can't use two anti-software programs at the same time. They get in each-others way.
- Generally you do not want more than one active anti virus program running in your computer or they can zap each other. Norton Anti Virus (not Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security) is the best. I have had to fix a lot of computers where users had other anti virus programs. You can download it off symantec.com or purchase in Walmart, etc. If you aren't running XP, you may have to get an older copy of Norton depending on the operating system you are using bc the current version doesn't work on all older systems; just most of them. The box will tell you what it works on.
- hi you need to think what antivirus you like to use like avg remove all the ones you have loaded in your pc and run only one as the others will clash and not work more than one antivirus runing you may as well have none if you want to double cheek for a virus do a online scan hope this helps i think you geting mixed up with anti spy prog and anti virus prog thay are two different progs and do different things ok no malware protection get avg antispy for virus protection get avg anti virus thay work togeter well and get it from www.filehippo.com
