Antivirus Help
antivirus software?
i know i have a virus because it keeps opening up random web pages on me so i need to know how to get rid of it. What program should i download thats free and will do the job.

- AVG is pretty good. Here's the site: http://free.grisoft.com/ It will give you the basic protection for free but you would have to purchase it if you want its full functionality. Finds viruses and spyware that are very very hard to find with no conflict to other antivirus software. http://www.superantispyware.com Update (manual) daily free. -or- A Squared Free Edition - www.emsisoft.com Remove infections of Trojans, Spyware, Adware, Worms, Keyloggers, Rootkits, Dialers and other malicious programs. Both are good.. and I use them both.

Install them both and update, but before you scan, be sure to scan in Safe mode to remove everything. To get into safe mode, reboot, then keep pressing F8 before WIndows Boots. Enter Safe mode and then run the scanners
