Antivirus software problem: computer keeps on restarting.?
Hi to all, Im ramses : ) i just reformat my computer, now Im encoutering this problem on my windows home edition regarding my antivirus softwares, ive tried to install avira,AVG,symantec, but whenever the program starts to install my computer suddenly restarts. I belive the antivirus software is the reason for the constant restarting because when i switched it off on the security center everthing runs smoothly again... Whenever i tried to install a new antivirus program the same thing happens, it restarts. Now i have no antivirus software protecting my computer, im afraid sooner or later a virus may infect it. how can i fix this? IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL appeared after the constant restarting but when i disabled the antivirus software it stopped. Please help me i cant leave my comptuer unprotected by an antivirus program. - First right click my computer and select properties, then click the advanced tab, then click the settings button next to startup and recovery, take a tick out of "automatically restart" and now do the steps below go to add/remove programs and make sure all virus protection software is removed.
