How do I update my Symantec antivirus software?
Yahoo supplied the Yahoo antivirus software when I installed their browser. How do I keep it up-to-date and repair errors. The Internet Worm Protection is report as not being found after months of succesful use. I have tried the answers through symantec update and it still tells me that Internet Worm Protection is missing. Any thoughts on the specific worm issue please?

- My apologies in advance, but if you can, uninstall the Symantec anti virus. Yahoo truly should NOT be installing such stuff on your machine. Get a free but equally robust antivirus program such as Grisoft's AVG: http://snipurl.com/avg_free It auto-updates itself every morning (or any time that you setup in its simple interface), doesn't cost you a penny, and takes VERY LITTLE system resources. That's more than one can say for the bloatware produced by Symantec or McAfee.
- you should have a symantec live update programme somewhere. Go to your start bar and look for it. If no luck then you can log onto the symantec website and try to download from there
- Open the Norton Protection Centre and click on update :-)
