How do I get rid of the "Windows Antivirus" spyware/virus?
I have the "Windows Antivirus" spyware/virus. The one that has the little caution triangle in the corner and says "Windows has detected spyware infection..." I did a search on Yahoo! Questions and tried all the suggestions. And so far I have downloaded Ad Aware, Norton, and Super Anti Spyware and none of them got rid of it! How do I get rid of it? I can't do anything on my computer with this darn thing on here!!!

These infections are difficult to remove and are usually bundled with so much other malware, that traditional antispyware or antivirus programs have difficult completely cleaning these infections. Due to this a specialized tool was created in order to help a user clean their system of these infections.
- I had that 2 months ago. You can download everything under the moon, it may not help. Save all your files on portable disks(Music, files, pics, etc.) Now, you need to reformat the disk. To do this, turn off computer.Turn back on, and then hit F10. Go to advanced options, Next, Yes, Yes. Your computer is good as new. Don't forget to save those files because they will be gone once you reformat.
